If they haven’t heard already, Albany pickleball players may be glad to know that work has started on converting the tennis courts at Linn-Benton Community College for their sport.
At Linn-Benton Community College, they haven’t played tennis for years. And now they plan to replace their courts with a pickleball venue that the Albany Parks and Recreation Department will build.
Enjoy the game but don’t touch anything
Considering these “temporary rules” I read Sunday on the fence of the pickleball courts at Albany’s Eleanor Hackleman Park, it’s hard to see how anybody could play the game, let alone enjoy it.
