From time to time, the bike takes me past Burkhart Park in Albany, which features a playground, an abandoned tennis court, a couple of hoops and plenty of grass. Soon it will have something else, an outdoor “fitness court.”
Is it a sign of anything if you find a dead rat in the gutter of a city street in Albany? Probably not, but it does make you think about rats, at least for a while.
Is tennis going out of style as a recreational sport? You might get that idea if you look at the photo above. But it’s a trick shot and doesn’t say anything about whether tennis is still being played.
