Samaritan has eye on Millersburg

Samaritan Health Services may be cutting back on expenses, but it’s also looking to the future, and it sees part of that future in Millersburg. That’s according to a proposed three-way property-and-road agreement between the city of Millersburg, Samaritan and Linn County.

For 11 years now, this bridge on Albany’s Cox Creek has been restricted to one lane, with concrete barriers and piles of gravel closing half of it. It looks like a permanent symbol of our crumbling infrastructure, which in itself may be a sign that our civilization is slowly falling apart.
