Freeway drivers in Albany and elsewhere on the Oregon interstates will be interested in the state’s proposal to raise the speed limit for trucks. If it goes through, this should ease the congestion caused by slow trucks overtaking each other at leisurely speeds.
Cables and other types of median barriers are fine and good, but what else could we try to keep drivers on their side of the road?

Close to town, a nice place for boats
The bike took me past Freeway Lakes southeast of Albany the other day. Once again I was glad to see that this place is getting some use by people in small boats.
