Those I-5 flags: Still tied to bridge screens

Nearly two months ago, ODOT told me its crews were removing anything including U.S. flags attached to the overpass screens on Interstate 5. But this past weekend, the flags were still there.

On a drive from Albany to southern Oregon and back, you can’t help but notice U.S. flags tied to the fences on lots of the overpasses across I-5. The only thing I know about this is that ODOT is not pleased.
