A perspective from Oregon’s mid-Willamette Valley
One of my bike routes through Albany takes me along the Perwinkle Bikepath, and on it you can see different kind of sights, from wildlife to trash.
Wild turkeys in Albany neighborhoods are, in the words of a proposed city ordinance, an “ongoing condition” and a public nuisance that must be stopped.
It’s not clear why wild turkeys have gathered this summer in a sector of West Albany, but we can guess. Maybe they have figured out where it’s safe for them to settle in for the winter and spring.
