A plan to have Obie Companies of Eugene consider developing part of the Albany waterfront with mixed-use buildings is moving ahead.
For many years there has been a warehouse or garage at the southeast corner of Hill Street and Water Avenue in Albany. Now a contractor plans to tear it down and replace it with buildings where people will live.

This corner of Water Avenue in Albany is one of the places where a new pedestrian access to the Dave Clark Riverfront Park is being opened up.
