If they haven’t heard already, Albany pickleball players may be glad to know that work has started on converting the tennis courts at Linn-Benton Community College for their sport.
Albany funds industrial training gear

If everything goes as planned, in no more than seven years some 500 people working at Albany-area industries will have had specialized training on equipment bought with a grant from the Albany City Council.

South Pacific bike lanes invite disaster
A few days ago I took the bike to 53rd Avenue in south Albany. The trip on South Pacific Boulevard and back illustrated a glaring gap in Albany’s bike infrastructure.
