Wondering if the contractors were going to get done with Queen Avenue before Labor Day, I put the question to the Albany city staff.
Queen Avenue in Albany has been closed to through traffic for weeks while the street is being rebuilt. Businesses are open but feel the effects in reduced activity and sales.
What more can be said about potholes on Albany streets, or more generally about why the city says it can’t repair those streets that seem to be mostly a collection of potholes and asphalt patches. We’re about to find out.
