Repaving ahead on Washington and Queen

Sections of two main traffic routes in Albany, Washington Street and Queen Avenue, are due to be repaved starting this summer at a construction cost totaling about $7.5 million.

After being closed to through traffic since June 20, all of Albany’s Queen Avenue between the west city limit and Pacific Boulevard is once again open for traffic — and on brand-new pavement.


City’s appeal: Stay off Queen to let crews finish
