Albany may face a renewed discussion about what flags other than the traditional ones to display at City Hall.
Albany city officials have worked up a policy on displaying flags, a policy that allows for the gay-pride flag the city council voted to display for the month of June.
If they look up, people wandering across the plaza outside Albany City Hall in June will be looking at a gay-rights or “pride” flag after all.
Looks like there won’t be a “Pride” flag on the pole in front of Albany City Hall next month after all.
With only one dissenting voice, the Albany City Council voted Wednesday to hoist a “pride flag” in front of City Hall during the month of June.
