Albany may face a renewed discussion about what flags other than the traditional ones to display at City Hall.
An evening bike ride took me past Albany City Hall on Thursday, June 1, and I saw the results of action the city council took on May 24 in the matter of flags on display.
Monday was the last day to file for elective offices in the Albany city government, and there was no last-minute rush to sign up.
Monday was the first day in two weeks you didn’t need an appointment to do business at Albany City Hall. I doubt that’s the reason a Canada goose decided to stake out the entrance, but there it was.
If they asked me, I would recommend changes in the layout of the room where the Albany City Council meets.
