If you plan on taking Highway 34 to the central Oregon coast later this month — whether to visit the scene in the photo above or somewhere else — you might be interested in ODOT’s plan to close a bridge for repairs over one whole weekend.


This store chain likes to expand

Every time you turn around in Oregon now, a new little “Dollar General” store pops up. This one in Yachats appeared within the past few months, about the same time as other outlets in the chain opened in Philomath and Waldport.
