There’s no evidence that a man found dead by the side of Bryant Drive outside of Albany died as a result of homicide, according to Linn County Sheriff Bruce Riley.

Albany police station for sale

It will probably be a couple of years before the Albany police can move into their new headquarters, but as last week’s city council discussion showed, it’s not too early for the city to think about selling their present digs near the Linn County Jail on Jackson Street.

Memorial on Bryant: Still an open case
Roadside memorials are meant to remind us of the dead but, judging by the hand-written note, this one on Bryant Way outside of Albany apparently did so in a way that prompted property owners’ concern.
