One of the many upsides of living in Albany is that, even on the bike, you’re never more than a few minutes from the farm fields outside of town.
There are not many sights on Bryant Drive outside of Albany, but one of them you can look at from time to time is a herd of picturesque cattle.
Just yesterday, on Christmas Day, I complained that the Oregon weather in December made riding a bike more difficult. And today proved me wrong.
Bryant Way and Bryant Drive is one of the nicest roads for a bike ride in and near Albany. That’s why I went there for a short jaunt before it started raining Wednesday afternoon.
The western end of Queen Avenue was closed for construction Tuesday, and the effect — added traffic elsewhere — was noticeable as the bike and I were coming back into Albany on Bryant Drive.
