For Liberty, less lawn and more parking

The Albany planning division has invited public comment before issuing a conditional use permit for an expansion of the parking lot at Liberty School. It’s hard to see the point since the school board has already awarded a construction contract for the work.


It’s beginning to look like a school

South renovation calls for fences

When they’re finished with renovations that include various 8-foot-tall fences, South Albany High School will no longer have the porous campus it has today. It will no longer be open to uncontrolled access all over the place.
