Nature, or more specifically the Willamette River, has created something like a natural little harbor on the Albany riverfront. But we’re not going to make use of it.

Will ODOT require automatic gates, lights and bells at any of the new Water Avenue railroad crossings being planned as part of Albany’s riverfront redevelopment project?

City files for review of riverfront renovation

Albany is taking another step toward redeveloping the Willamette riverfront. One department of the city government has applied to another for approval of a site plan and related permits for making changes in Monteith Riverpark, on the Dave Clark Path, and along Water Avenue.
