There was some grumbling on Facebook that an entire downtown Albany parking lot and adjacent street were blocked for a special event. But the closure, planned since February, had the support of the Albany Downtown Association.
Nobody would blame you for having nodded off during the prolonged planning for Oregon Passenger Rail. Time to wake up, though, for now there are some startling figures at hand regarding the costs.
Smooth riding on new subdivision streets
The streets appear to be mostly finished in a new subdivision on the western edge of Albany’s Broadway Neighborhood. I tried them out on the bike last week, and they are fine, as you would expect.
