After Christmas, with not much going on, I reported on an unusually shaky bike rack at Albany Station. On Thursday I went by there again and guess what: The rack had been not just fixed, but fixed in a way to make it unlikely to need repairs again.
Every now and then, somebody on the Albany City Council will wonder out loud if anything can be done about bicyclists ignoring the traffic laws or otherwise acting stupid. It happened again last week.
Ever heard of a “doghouse-style” traffic signal? It signals when you can make a left turn, and at Queen and Geary and three other Albany intersections, it’s going to be replaced by a different kind.
