It’s not often anyone is tempted to write a headline like the one above. But it came to mind after a day of unusually heavy rain in the Albany area, where heavy rain in February is not exactly big news.
Albany’s new dog park wasn’t exactly overrun Sunday morning, but the dogs that were there seemed to enjoy themselves. Maybe they don’t usually get to run around in company with other dogs, so this might have neen something of a novelty for them.

Albany gets ready for Cycle Oregon start
At Timber Linn Park in Albany, they’re getting ready for a bunch of people on bikes. The park is the starting point for Cycle Oregon 2023, a seven-day bicycle tour that will take participants through the Willamette Valley wine country, across the Coast Range and down the coast on inland roads.
