When actual news takes place, you can usually find me elsewhere. On Saturday, for instance the bike and I checked on an out-of-the way corner of Albany we had visited almost exactly a year before.

Grand Prairie land use hearing to resume

A proposal to rezone an undeveloped property on Grand Prairie Road in southeast Albany to allow apartments or townhouses will be the subject of a continued public hearing next week.

Land division for 80 townhomes approved

The City of Albany’s Community Development Department today approved a tentative land division for 80 townhomes in North Albany. The 7.4-acre site was originally planned for 22 single-family houses.
