Riding my bike along the Bear Creek Greenway, I’m wondering once again why Jackson County has managed to complete such a magnificent transportation and recreation asset while we in the mid-valley are still floundering around with similar ideas.

Bike bridge — an idea too far out?

It’s wishful thinking, I know, but a bike bridge across the Willamette River might actually avoid all kinds of other complications as the search continues for a more or less direct Albany-Corvallis Trail.
