In line with direction from the Albany City Council, the city staff has invited contractors to bid for the job of installing flashing lights in the school zone on North Albany Road.
If you’ve driven (or ridden a bike) on Scenic Drive in North Albany lately, you’ve seen the new 45 mph speed signs. They’ve been up a couple of weeks.

How come drivers still getting caught?
Every time I have driven past the traffic cameras on North Albany Road in the last few months, and I do this twice a day, it has been impossible to get a ticket. Yet more than 300 drivers get speeding tickets there every month. How come?
