We all say we want to keep guns out of the hands of crazy people. How do we do that? Not, I hope, the way it would be done under a proposed law the 2016 legislature may be asked to adopt.
Gun bill hearing raises questions

The state Senate Judiciary Committee heard from dozens of people Wednesday and received many more statements for and against expanded background checks for gun purchases. But the main questions remain unanswered and new ones were raised.

Albany considers 2nd Amendment ‘sanctuary’
The Albany City Council voted Wednesday to “look into” some kind of local legislation to protect lawful gun owners from further state-imposed restrictions that infringe on their Second Amendment right to bear arms.
