Albany’s urban renewal program intends to call a public meeting to gather comments on which public “infrastructure” projects to pursue, but for now the idea of an improved Thurston Street canal is off the list of suggested options.

CARA sees the light and likes it
Albany likely will use urban renewal money to light the Dave Clark Trail on the Willamette River along with a portion of Monteith Riverpark, where the path starts. But exactly how or when it will go about it is still unclear.
