Where the ‘near future’ has not arrived

This dilapidated barricade and its vague promise of a street extension have been in place for more than a decade. Now the barricade is falling apart, and the future possibility mentioned in the sign has not yet arrived.


Still trying to make sense of this sign

This sign first caught my attention nine years ago, in July 2014. It didn’t make sense then or when I saw it again in 2016. It was still there on the second of this month, making no more sense than before.
