Albany and other towns of similar size are under state orders to do something that’s impossible: to create “climate friendly areas” where people in the future won’t need cars to go to work or meet most other needs.

Neighbors ask alley be closed for safety
Homeowners along an alley for pedestrians south of Knox Butte Road have complained to the Albany City Council about people causing problems in the walkway. They would like it closed.
