The pickleball courts at Albany’s Hackleman Park have developed a series of cracks, and here’s a story about efforts to get the playing surface fixed.
What was I doing in Albany’s Hackleman Park this afternoon? Taking a break on a bike ride, sitting on a bench in the shade and sipping a lemonade, as you can see in the photo above.
The bike occasionally takes me past the 1100 block on Sixth Avenue across from Hackleman Park in central Albany. Last week I noticed how the area has been spruced up with the completion of this building’s conversion to an apartment house.
