The source of Albany’s drinking water continues to carry a lot of sediment or mud, but so far the stuff coming out of our taps is just as clear as always.

Canal shows effect of reservoir drawdown
Once again this fall, we’re seeing one result of the deep drawdown of Green Peter Reservoir: Very turbid water in the Albany Santiam Canal.
