A perspective from Oregon’s mid-Willamette Valley

Road’s not dry, yet

Written February 19th, 2014 by Hasso Hering

As you can see, Bryant Way outside of Albany was still closed on Wednesday afternoon. But the flooding covered only one section of the road instead of two on Monday.
On a bike, it’s easy to slip under the barriers closing the road, but it didn’t look like a good idea to cross the flooded section. Rainfall has diminished, so another day or two and the water should stop flowing across the road. (hh)
