Tuesday’s bike ride took me past the latest addition to Albany’s industrial base. It is the new quarters of CorrQuest Automation Inc. on Salem Avenue across from Waverly Lake.

Valliscor tax break up for council vote
The chemical manufacturing plant being built on Ferry Street in Albany qualifies to be free from property taxes for five years, an exemption the city council is being asked to approve this week.
