What you don’t see here is the discarded Christmas tree that had been waiting on the verge for the past two trash days. It’s gone because Republic Services picked it up today, the regular trash pickup day in our neighborhood.

Albany nixes weekly debris pickup

Albany residents worried about a proposal to increase the frequency of yard debris pickups in Albany can stop worrying. The city council made it clear Wednesday it does not think much of the change and will not act to authorize it.
