The future of Albany’s Talking Water Gardens remains uncertain this spring. But if a claim made in a court filing is true, there’s a potential pathway to resume their use as part of the wastewater treatment plant.

There’s water back in the ‘Talking Gardens’

Water has resumed flowing at Talking Water Gardens, the constructed wetlands that Albany was forced to let dry up this summer.

What’s next at Talking Water Gardens

The City of Albany intends to maintain the constructed wetlands known as Talking Water Gardens as a place to enjoy nature even though the place no longer functions as part of the Albany and Millersburg wastewater treatment system.
