Democrats in the state Senate on Tuesday rammed through a program to make fuel more expensive and less useful. You’d think that they would have more regard for the people of this state. Instead, they showed they are looking out for the fat cats who speculate and invest in alternative fuels.
On fuel, pushing ahead blindly
Democrats in the Oregon legisature are showing a reckless disregard for the consequences as they extend the so-called “clean-fuels” program, which they’re about to do. Their own revenue office told them that while the effect on state revenue cannot be determined, it could be bad, but the supporters of SB 324 don’t care.
