This is not the first time this has happened, but once again the big nest that generations of ospreys built on the Albany railroad bridge has been taken over by a pair of Canada geese.

Competition over nest resolved, for now
If you were worried about the ospreys whose nest on the Albany railroad bridge was taken over by Canada geese, you can rest easy. The ospreys have given up and moved next door.
