Unless you live there, the new neighborhoods in northeast Albany are kind of out of the way, being on the “other side” of I-5. The bike took me there on Thursday just to take a look.

It had been a while since I last visited Draperville in Albany’s northeast corner. The bike took me there this week for a look at where the city is building a new street.

A hotbed of construction east of I-5

The bike took me to the wide-open spaces of northeast Albany this week, and they’e no longer wide open. Everywhere I went, there’s construction– new streets, houses, apartments, and of course the new Meadow Ridge School itself.
