Starting today, forgetful drivers are getting a break in the school zone on North Albany Road. The City of Albany announced that the long-awaited installation of flashing lights was taking place.
Installing flashing speed limit signs in the school zone on North Albany Road apparently will cost the city less than officials had expected.
The city of Albany’s new speed cameras on North Albany Road will come with warnings that indicate when the school zone speed limit of 20 mph is in effect.
