The planned conversion to electric vehicles in the next generation will require a lot of places to charge car batteries. So I was interested to see a newly installed charger at The Banks, the 120-unit apartment complex nearing completion at 595 Geary St. N.E.


Albany set to add EV stations downtown

Pacific Power has offered to give the Albany urban renewal district (CARA) $63,548 to set up public charging stations for electric vehicles downtown.


Drive electrics — or else?

Gov. John Kitzhaber has announced that Oregon is joining California and six eastern states including New York in a “new initiative to put 3.3 million zero-emission vehicles on the road by 2025.” If this is such a great idea, why does it take government schemes to drive it forward?.
