Albany’s zoning code makes it difficult to find a use for the former Mega Foods supermarket, so the owners are seeking a zone change that would allow a full range of commercial possibilities.


Flap over a portable toilet: One question

If Albany does not allow portable toilets except on a temporary basis, how come they are available year-round at some city parks? That’s one of the questions the city council may want to ask when the flap over one downtown outhouse comes before it next month.

Police can cite people for drone offenses
