100_1720After a full week of winter weather, all that misery was over Friday. Mid-valley roads and city streets were clear again for a bike rider to follow one of his usual routes, which in this case includes Pirtle Drive south of Albany (below). During the week of first snow and then ice, some cyclists could be seen braving Albany streets, but they were making only wobbly progress and it seemed wiser to stay off the bike for the time being.
