A perspective from Oregon’s mid-Willamette Valley

A fine afternoon for a February ride

Written February 6th, 2022 by Hasso Hering

Circumstances kept me off the bike for more than a month. So I was glad to take advantage of the unseasonal sunshine Sunday afternoon by swinging a leg over the top tube and setting off for a little ride.

On the Dave Clark Riverfront Path, people were interested in what seemed like a big fat gull that apparently taken over the osprey nest on top of he railroad bridge across the Willamette.

Or maybe it was just resting there after the long flight over from the coast. (hh)
